Tim Younkman Adviser / Associate Broker In College, Tim studied architecture and minored in technical writing. He worked his way through college in many areas of residential construction, including drafting for architects. After completing his B.A. at California State University, Northridge, then attending graduate school, Tim taught in the public school system in Los Angeles. Tim is an accomplished Goldsmith and Silversmith, part of a community of artists in Taos. He has shown his work in some of Santa Fe and Taos’ finest Galleries. For years, Tim served the Taos community as a Jeweler, forming long-term relationships of trust with many clients living out of state-- who recruited him to manage and improve their properties. This naturally led to obtaining his Real Estate license. He has managed properties all over Taos County, and has first hand experience living in different areas of the county. Tim is a member of the Taos County Association of Realtors. Tim, wife Laura, son Owen, and daughter Eva, live in the house he designed and built north of town nineteen years ago. They enjoy spending time with family hiking in the local mountains, skiing, mountain biking, gardening, and traveling. Tim has coached soccer and baseball, the latter as NFHS certified Middle School Head Coach and High School Varsity Assistant Coach. He is former President of Taos Men’s Adult Baseball League (MABL).
